How late can I place an order for delivery today?

Accepted Answer

Six in the evening for Dubai, four for Sharjah, three for Abu Dhabi, two for Ajman and one for Al Ain. Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah are next-day only, with a midday cut-off for the following morning. The cut-off is when the order reaches us, not when you start filling the basket, so leave yourself a few minutes on a busy Thursday.

Do I need an account to order?

Accepted Answer

No. You can check out as a guest with nothing more than your name, a mobile number and the delivery address. An account is only worth having if you send flowers regularly, because it keeps your saved addresses and your order history in one place.

Question 3

Can I send flowers without knowing the full address?

Accepted Answer

We need a street address to deliver. What we can do is call the recipient ahead of the run to confirm where they want it left, which is what most people choose for office deliveries. Give us the recipient mobile number in the delivery notes and we will handle it discreetly.

Question 4

How far ahead can I schedule an order?

Accepted Answer

Up to sixty days. Beyond that we cannot honestly promise the variety you picked will be in the market, so we would rather you called us closer to the date.

Question 5

Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, until we start cutting. That means up to four hours before a scheduled delivery, or within thirty minutes of ordering if you chose same-day. After that the stems are already trimmed to your bouquet and we cannot put them back, so we will offer to redirect the delivery rather than refund it.

Do you take orders by phone or WhatsApp?

We do, on +971 4 555 0180 and +971 50 555 0180. Corporate accounts, sympathy orders and anything involving more than ten deliveries in a day are usually faster by phone than through the basket.

Which emirates do you deliver to?

Accepted Answer

All seven emirates plus Al Ain. Delivery is AED 25 in Dubai, AED 30 in Sharjah, AED 35 in Abu Dhabi and Ajman, AED 40 in Al Ain, AED 45 in Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah, and AED 50 in Fujairah. Our own drivers cover Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman; the longer runs go out in a refrigerated van each morning.

When is delivery free?

Above AED 300 in Dubai, AED 350 in Sharjah, AED 400 in Abu Dhabi and Ajman, AED 450 in Al Ain, and AED 500 in Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The threshold is measured on the order value before the delivery fee, and it already includes VAT.

Can I choose a delivery window?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Morning covers 9:00 to 12:00, afternoon 12:00 to 16:00 and evening 16:00 to 21:00, all at no extra cost. Express puts a bouquet at the door within ninety minutes for AED 45, and the midnight surprise slot delivers between 23:30 and 00:30 for AED 60.

What happens if nobody is home?

Accepted Answer

The driver calls the recipient, then calls you. If neither of you answers we will leave the flowers with a concierge or a neighbour when it is safe to do so, and send you a photograph. If there is nowhere safe, the bouquet comes back to the studio, is re-conditioned overnight and goes out again the next day for a second attempt at AED 25.

Do you deliver to hotels, hospitals and offices?

Regularly. Hotels need a guest name and a room or reservation number. Hospitals need the ward or room name, because reception will not accept a delivery addressed only to a patient. Offices need a company name and a floor, and some free-zone towers will not let a driver past security without a working mobile number for the recipient.

Can I track the delivery?

Order tracking is on the site under Track Your Order, using the reference on your confirmation. You will also get a message when the bouquet leaves the studio and another when it is handed over.

How fresh are the flowers?

Bought at the Dubai Flower Centre at five most mornings and conditioned in our cold room overnight before anything is cut. Nothing sits on a shelf pre-made. Your bouquet is tied after you order, which is why a same-day Dubai delivery takes two to four hours rather than twenty minutes.

How long should a bouquet last?

Seven to ten days for roses, five to seven for peonies and tulips, and up to three weeks for orchids. In July and August take a day off each of those figures, and keep the vase away from the air-conditioning vent, which dries petals faster than sunlight does.

When are peonies available?

Accepted Answer

Roughly eleven weeks a year, from late March to early June, flown in from the Netherlands. Outside that window we will not sell you a peony bouquet with something else quietly swapped in. We will tell you they are out and suggest garden roses or ranunculus instead.

Question 16

How do I care for a rose box?

Accepted Answer

The foam arrives fully hydrated. Add about 50ml of cool water every two days, pouring at the edge rather than over the heads, and never lift the blooms out, because they are cut short to sit flush with the rim. Keep the box off a heated surface and out of direct sun.

Will I get exactly the flowers in the photograph?

The variety, the colour palette and the stem count, yes. The precise shape of any individual bouquet, no, because it is tied by hand. If a stem does not meet our grading on the morning, we substitute something of equal or greater value in the same palette and tell you before it goes out.

Are your flowers safe around pets?

Accepted Answer

Lilies are genuinely dangerous to cats, and we flag it at checkout if there is a lily in your order. Gypsophila and tulips cause mild upset if eaten. If the recipient has cats, say so in the delivery notes and we will build around it at no extra cost.

Can I build my own bouquet?

Accepted Answer

That is what the customizer is for. You pick from nine varieties held year-round, set the size, choose one of six wrapping papers and write the card, and the price updates as you go. Same florists, same stems as the catalogue bouquets, arranged to your brief.

Question 20

Is the message card handwritten?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on cotton stock, by whoever finishes your order, and sealed before it leaves the studio. We do not print message cards. Keep it under about forty words or it stops fitting on the card at a readable size.

Question 21

What can I add to a bouquet?

Accepted Answer

Chocolate, a glass vase, a soy candle, a small bear and the perfume we blend ourselves. Add-ons appear on the product page and in the basket, and everything arrives together in one delivery rather than following on separately.

Can you leave the price off a gift?

Accepted Answer

There is never a price or an invoice inside a delivery. The recipient sees the flowers and your card, nothing else. If you want your name left off entirely, leave the card unsigned and we will send it exactly that way.

Do you brand sympathy deliveries?

Accepted Answer

No. Sympathy orders go out with no NouraBloom ribbon, no logo on the wrap and no marketing insert, and the driver will not ask the household to sign for anything. Tell us the family name and the time of the service and we will work backwards from it.

Do you handle corporate and event flowers?

Accepted Answer

Weekly office arrangements, gifting for staff and clients, and full wedding and event work. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly and get a fixed delivery rate across Dubai. Write to hello@nourabloom.ae with the volume and the frequency and we will come back with a schedule.

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Our online payment gateway is not live yet, so we confirm every order by phone and take payment by bank card link, transfer or cash on delivery at that point. Nothing is charged while you are on the site, and you will always speak to someone before money moves.

Do you store my card details?

Accepted Answer

We never see them. Because there is no gateway on the site, no card number is ever typed into nourabloom.ae, and nothing resembling card data is stored on our systems. Card payment links are issued by the bank and expire once used.

Are your prices inclusive of VAT?

Accepted Answer

Every price on the site includes UAE VAT at 5%. There is no tax added at checkout. The only lines that can be added to your total are the delivery fee for the emirate and, if you choose one, an express or midnight slot surcharge.

What is the freshness guarantee?

If flowers arrive damaged, or wilt within three days of delivery, send us a photograph within 48 hours on hello@nourabloom.ae or WhatsApp and we will replace the arrangement on the next available run or refund it in full. We do not ask you to send anything back.

Can I return flowers I have changed my mind about?

Accepted Answer

Perishable goods made to order are not returnable, and that is the honest answer. What we will do is cancel before we cut, within the windows above, and refund in full. After that we can redirect a delivery to a different address on the same day at no charge.

How long does a refund take?

Accepted Answer

Bank transfers go back within two working days. Card refunds are issued the same day and typically land in five to seven working days, depending on your bank. We send you the reference either way.
